Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist ( RRT )
Unit: Respiratory Services
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: Night Shift (7pm=7:30am)
Location: Nazareth Hospital
Position Purpose
Under supervision of the department manager and/upon request of the physician order sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the Diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness. Also delivery of medications needed to assist in control of Respiratory ailments.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, You Will
- Demonstrates competence in providing oxygen therapy and arterial blood gas sampling.
- Assist in pulmonary toilet/oropharyngeal suctioning.
- Ventilator care - set up and maintains, verifies physician order, suctions as per protocol.
- Use BIPAP and CPAP devices, ensuring proper size fit and comfort of patient.
- Appropriate use of pulse oximetry.
- HS graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program
- Current PA license in respiratory therapy.
- Must be registered by the NBRC, registered preferred.
- BCLS required.
- Experience required.
