Job Title: Registered Nurse - Quality Assurance

Position Purpose
- Nazareth Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse – Quality Assurance to join our Quality Improvement team. This role supports hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives by coordinating quality assurance efforts, conducting clinical record reviews, and tracking data to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
- Coordinate comprehensive performance improvement programs under the Director of Quality Improvement
- Conduct medical record reviews for internal and external quality reporting
- Organize, analyze, and track quality improvement data from sources such as Datavision, Midas, and Core Measures
- Enter and monitor core measure data, proactively ensuring optimal outcomes
- Communicate findings and concerns to relevant hospital personnel
- Participate in and lead FMEAs, root cause analyses, and quality action plans
- Facilitate and deliver educational sessions on current quality initiatives
- Collaborate on multidisciplinary improvement teams and committees
- Promote integration of risk management and quality processes
- Evaluate the effectiveness of ongoing quality initiatives and assist with annual reviews
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum 5 years of med/surg, critical care, or relevant acute care experience
- Performance improvement experience preferred
- Strong computer and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams
- 0.4 FTE (16 hours weekly) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
