Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: PRN per department needs- Rotating shifts. Weekend commitment - every 4th weekend. Holiday commitment - one per year. More hours as oppurtunities arise.
Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE
Position Purpose
The technologist is responsible for performing all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in the department, at the bedside and in the OR., including those utilizing oral and /or injected contrast agents. The technologist assists the radiologist and/or other licensed, privileged physicians during radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.

As a Radiology Tech, You Will
- Performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
- Utilizes Hospital EMR and Radiology PACS system with accuracy
- Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure
- Provides guidance and mentoring to students
- Accept additional assignments and tasks
- Provide DX Radiology department coverage 24/7 including weekends and holidays
- Supports the mission and values of St. Francis Hospital
- ARRT required
- Delaware license in Radiology Technology required
- BLS required
