Food Service Associate Lead

Position Purpose
Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Dietary Lead to join our Food and Nutrition team!
What You Will Do
- The main focus of our Lead Dietary Aide is providing personalized meal service to hospital patients.
- Assisting patients with meal selection, serving meals to patients, clearing soiled and used trays from patients.
- Stocking nursing unit pantries with supplies, taking meal carts to and from the patient floors, breaking down meal carts and various other side work duties assigned by management during shifts.
- Serving cafeteria customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Stocking various areas in the cafeteria and general sanitation.
- Assisting other cafeteria and patient service staff as needed.
- Responsible for the record keeping of safe food temperatures and refrigeration temperatures.
- Works with management to ensure smooth operation and Quality Control.
- HS diploma or equivalency (required)
- Healthcare experience (preferred)
- Customer service oriented.
- Effectively communicates with customers, clients, and management.
- Able to work with minimal supervision and alone.
- Ability to interact with kitchen and supervisory staff.
- At least 2-3 years of Dietary Aide Experience
