Job Title: Environmental Services Supervisor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with every other weekend and rotating holidays)

Location: St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE

Position Purpose

• The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department.
  
  

As An “Environmental Services Supervisor ” You Will

• Supervises and coordinates colleagues.
• Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized and attractive condition.
• Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management and Plant Operations.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-4 years-experience in housekeeping/environmental services, hospital or health-care experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team
• Must have ability to prioritize staffing needs
• Must be self-directed, organized and possess leadership qualities.
• Must be capable of prioritizing and completing duties in a timely manner
• Must be self-directed, organized and able to work independently
• Must have ability to adjust to changing healthcare designs
• Must be able to work well under time constraints
• Must have computer knowledge using spread sheets and word processing software
