Job Title: Environmental Services Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Purpose
- The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department.
- Supervises and coordinates colleagues.
- Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized and attractive condition.
- Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management and Plant Operations.
- High School graduate or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years-experience in housekeeping/environmental services, hospital or health-care experience preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team
- Must have ability to prioritize staffing needs
- Must be self-directed, organized and possess leadership qualities.
- Must be capable of prioritizing and completing duties in a timely manner
- Must be self-directed, organized and able to work independently
- Must have ability to adjust to changing healthcare designs
- Must be able to work well under time constraints
- Must have computer knowledge using spread sheets and word processing software
