Job Title: Environmental Services Associate

Employment Type: Part-Time

Shift: Day – 12:00 pm – 8:30 pm with every other weekend commitment

Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, Darby, PA

Position Purpose

• The Environmental Services Associate performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department.
  
  

As An “Environmental Services Associate” You Will

• The Environmental Service Associate promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.
• Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
• Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions.
• Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
• The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency (required)
