About the Role
Holy Cross Hospital - Silver Springs is seeking a passionate Nurse Supervisor to lead frontline clinical operations on our Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Neuro Unit. In this high-impact role, you’ll guide a team delivering specialized care to patients with neurological and progressive medical conditions—including stroke, seizures, and post-ICU recovery—while helping drive clinical excellence, patient safety, and exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical leader for assigned shifts
- Coordinate care for routine and high-acuity patients
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
- Partner with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families for successful recovery and continuity of care
- Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals
- Assist with daily operations and staff support
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active RN license (Maryland or Compact State)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience
Preferred experience
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Prior leadership experience (formal or informal)
- Experience in progressive care, neuro, or cardiac populations
- PCCN certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)

Pay range and compensation package
💲 $39.47 – $61.20/hour
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
