What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Tech Trainee Extern position at Trinity Health Michigan?
The CT Tech Training program is designed to provide hands-on training and progressive responsibilities in CT imaging under the supervision of registered CT technologists. This role supports the Imaging Services department by assisting with CT patient positioning, scan planning, and operation of CT scanners, while maintaining compliance with radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles. This is a program in conjunction with Baker College.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology / Radiography program
- Current ARRT in radiography (or to be obtained no later than end of June 2026)
- ARRT certification in CT obtained within one year after 23-week training program completion.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association).
