Surgery Radiology Technologist

- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures.
- Performs a variety of tasks involved in operating x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions and Produces diagnostically acceptable films for radiologist interpretation.
- Documents patient history, prepares documentation of all procedures/reports completed and reports this to the radiologist.
- Maintains courtesy, professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, staff and physicians.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and BCLS required.
- Working knowledge of anatomy and principles of physics, electricity and variations of anatomical postures.
