II Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education, Licensure / Certification And Experience Required.
Responsible for all powerhouse equipment. Maintains heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment for hospital campus. Responsible for maintaining temperature in all buildings for each season using a variety of building automation systems and, in some cases, manual controls. Repairs, maintains and performs preventive/predictive maintenance on hospital equipment using the work order system to report time, work performed and cost of materials. Assemble and install equipment and furnishings. Responsible for efficient energy usage (utilities). Maintains clean and neat work area, equipment and mechanical rooms. Respond to "call-ins" for any emergency. Performs other work as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure / Certification
- Current High Pressure Boiler Operator license.
- Valid State of Michigan Driver's License
- Have working knowledge of various HVAC and Building Automation Systems as evidenced by training and/or experience.
- Ability to read, write, make mathematical computations and follow complex instructions. Be able to interpret blueprints and technical specifications including operation and maintenance manuals.
- Excellent customer service orientation skills necessary in order to deal effectively with various levels of hospital personnel, outside customers and community groups.

- Have minimum of three (3) years of Powerhouse experience.
