Emergency
- The Trinity Health Ann Arbor Emergency Department (ED) provides comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages treating approximately 85,000 patients annually in our 64-bed unit
- The ED offers a full range of services, from treating acute conditions to minor injuries and illnesses
- The ED offers specialized care to both pediatric and geriatric patients. A dedicated pediatric unit, staffed with pediatricians and pediatric emergency nurses, is open 14 hours a day. Specialized geriatric care and screening is provided to senior patients age 65 years and older in a specially designed geriatric area 16 hours a day

Required Education/Experience/Licensure
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience (acute or long term) or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course
- Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program

Assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.
What You Will Do
- Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success
- Assist patient in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation (using assistive devices) and feeding/menu selection
- Collect and send specimens, including blood and blood cultures, inserts and removes peripheral IV catheters. Responsible to record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements
