We’re looking for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate home care team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with an Occupational Therapist to deliver thoughtful, hands-on care that supports client independence, safety, and well‑being.
What You’ll Do
As a COTA with us, you will:
- Provide direct occupational therapy treatments in clients’ homes based on an established care plan
- Support clients in using adaptive equipment and therapeutic devices
- Teach families how to assist safely with home exercises and daily activities
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the OT and care team
- Help ensure the client’s home environment supports their goals and safety
- Document visits accurately and submit notes in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with the OT, care team, and scheduling staff
- Participate in quality improvement and team meetings as needed
What You Bring
- Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Graduate of an AOTA‑approved OTA program (or equivalent experience/credentials)
- At least 6 months of experience working under a licensed OT
- Home health experience preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and communicate professionally
- Commitment to our mission, values, and high‑quality client care
You’re comfortable with:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 35 lbs)
- Occasional bending, stooping, or repositioning of clients
- Working in a variety of home environments and adapting as needed
