What You’ll Do
Orientation & Staff Development
- Design and deliver individualized orientation plans for new clinicians
- Collaborate with clinical managers, preceptors, IT, and schedulers to support successful onboarding
- Provide field orientation oversight and ongoing coaching
- Review clinical documentation and offer actionable feedback
- Serve as a mentor and resource for new and existing staff
- Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs aligned with federal, state, and local regulations
- Ensure ongoing staff competency and survey readiness
- Coordinate and maintain education records and competencies
- Support clinical documentation accuracy within the electronic health record (HCHB)
- Utilize adult learning principles and varied teaching strategies
- Act as an informatics liaison for clinical technology
- Educate staff on EHR use, learning management systems, and other required tools
- Participate in committees, in-services, policy development, and special projects
- Assist with patient and community education initiatives
- Serve as a liaison with vendors as needed
Required / Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s in OT/ST or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
- OASIS certification required within one year
- CPR Instructor Certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
