About the Role:
Trinity General Contracting LLC is looking for a sharp and detail-oriented Estimator to join our growing team in Valdosta, GA. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing
- Review and analyze blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop detailed bid packages
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure best value
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential project challenges and cost factors
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients throughout the pre-construction phase
- Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating software
- Track bid results and assist in post-bid analysis to improve future estimates
Requirements:
- 2 years of estimating experience in general contracting or construction
- Must be able to generate own Leads for residential and commercial work.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar)
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and subcontractor trades
- Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for client and vendor interaction
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
