Job Summary
We are seeking an upholstery sewer for our furniture manufacturing uphostery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabric, leather, & vinyl sewing and a strong ability to operate sewing machines effectively. This role involves fabricating high-quality products while ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. The sewer will work in a warehouse environment, contributing to the overall production process.
Responsibilities
- Sewing fabric, leather and vinyl covers for upholstery chairs, loveseats, sofa's, recliners, etc.
- Match pieces of cut material together and sew with appropriate stitch to produce quality cover.
- Follow written instructions
Qualifications
- At least 2 years upholstery sewing experience
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and understanding of various sewing techniques.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
