Trinity Episcopal Church is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Nursery Worker to join our team!
Our nursery is a welcoming and nurturing space where the youngest members of our parish are cared for by attentive and engaged caregivers. Our goal is to provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where children can enjoy their time at church while their families participate in worship and other church activities.
Schedule
- Sundays: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesdays: 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: Evening hours as needed
- School breaks: Availability during school holidays and breaks is required
- Some additional hours may be available for special church events.
Pay: $16.50 per hour
We are looking for someone who:
- Is 18 years old or older
- Has experience caring for or working with young children
- Is warm, loving, patient, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children
- Is reliable, responsible, and has a positive, friendly attitude
- Can create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for children
- Is comfortable with routine childcare responsibilities, including changing diapers when needed
- Is attentive to children's needs and able to handle different personalities and situations with patience and care
- Is dependable and willing to make a long-term commitment
- Has reliable transportation and can consistently meet the required schedule
- Can successfully pass a background check
About the Position
The Nursery Worker will supervise and care for infants and young children, engage them in age-appropriate play and activities, maintain a clean and safe nursery environment, and attend to their basic needs while they are in our care.
We are looking for someone who sees working with children as more than simply a job. The right person will be caring, patient, attentive, and enthusiastic about creating a positive experience for the children and their families.
Please note: Applicants must be available on Tuesdays in the evening (September-May), Sundays during the scheduled nursery hours, and during school breaks.
Pay: $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 7.0 per week
