Scale Clerk
Trinity Employment Specialists is seeking a Scales clerk on behalf of a family-owned company that has been a trusted leader in recycling for more than 100 years. Our client is known for a strong culture of teamwork, integrity, and long-term stability. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate weights, proper documentation, and excellent customer service. While experience is helpful, full training is provided, including metal identification, so you can be confident in your role.
Pay: $16/hour
Shift: 7:45 am – 4:30 pm M-F
Responsibilities:
- Weigh and record all incoming and outgoing scrap materials
- Learn to identify different metals through on-the-job training
- Provide professional, courteous service to drivers, vendors, and business partners
- Accurately enter data and maintain electronic records
- Collaborate with coworkers to support safe and efficient yard operations
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- Pleasant personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to work well with the public, business owners, and team members
- Computer literate; ability to learn company systems
Reliability, safety focus, and eagerness to learn are essential.
