Propeller Mechanic
Pay: $22 - $34/hr DOE

Propeller Mechanic – Must-Have Requirements
- Previous mechanical, maintenance, assembly, or repair experience

Propeller Mechanic – Position Summary
We are seeking a mechanically skilled Propeller Mechanic to support the inspection, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft propeller systems and related components. This position is not an A&P mechanic role and does not require signing off on aircraft maintenance. Instead, the role focuses on component-level mechanical work in a shop environment supporting aviation operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience using precision tools, and the ability to follow technical manuals and specifications in a safety-focused environment.
Propeller Mechanic – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble aircraft propellers and related components
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting and identify worn or damaged parts
- Use hand tools, measuring devices, and shop equipment to complete repairs and assemblies
- Assist with balancing, testing, and operational checks of propeller systems
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Document work completed and maintain accurate maintenance records
- Inspect components for corrosion, cracks, wear, and other defects
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and tooling
- Follow FAA regulations, company procedures, and safety standards
- Support shop operations and assist other technicians as needed

* Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
