Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Must-Have Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred
- Strong IV therapy and phlebotomy experience preferred
- Experience working with EMR/EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and clinical procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- CPR certification preferred

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and update EMR documentation
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist providers with exams, treatments, and in-office procedures
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and wound care
- Perform diagnostic testing including EKGs and pulse oximetry
- Conduct phlebotomy and process laboratory specimens
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care
- Support front office operations including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls
- Coordinate patient care including appointment reminders and follow-ups
- Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
- Assist with inventory management and staff onboarding/training

* Apply compresses, ice bags, or hot water bottles.
* Help patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed, or standing and walking.
* Collect samples, such as blood, urine, or sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples.
* Assemble and use equipment, such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, or oxygen suppliers.
* Record food and fluid intake and output.
* Work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
