CDL-A Local Driver (Tractor-Trailer / Straight Truck)

Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

CDL-A Local Driver – Must-Have Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required
• Experience operating tractor-trailers and/or straight trucks
• Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles
• Experience securing loads using straps and tarps
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures
• Clean driving record and dependable work history
• Ability to assist with loading and unloading materials
• Ability to work safely in industrial and warehouse environments

CDL-A Local Driver – Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable CDL-A Local Driver for a full-time day shift opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role is responsible for safely operating Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials locally while ensuring loads are properly secured and delivered safely and efficiently.

This is a local driving position only. No overnight or over-the-road travel required.

CDL-A Local Driver – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer (53-foot trailer) and/or 24-foot straight truck
• Perform local deliveries throughout the Tulsa area
• Transport steel beams, cooler materials, sheet metal, and manufacturing supplies
• Tarp, strap, and unstrap loads to ensure safe transport
• Load and secure freight according to DOT and company standards
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery and inspection documentation
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries to customers and job sites
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed
• Maintain clean and organized equipment and work areas

CDL-A Local Driver – Additional Qualifications

• Experience hauling industrial or manufacturing materials preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to lift, move, and secure materials as required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently
