Do you have a passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive? Trinity Educare is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic ECEAP Assistant Teacher to join our early learning team!
As an ECEAP Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside the Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. You'll build meaningful relationships with children and families while helping implement a high-quality, play-based learning environment that meets Washington State ECEAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed classroom environment.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
- Assist with classroom routines, meals, transitions, and supervision.
- Support children's social-emotional development using positive guidance strategies.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
- Participate in assessments, observations, and family engagement activities.
- Collaborate with classroom staff and specialists to support every child's success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Knowledge of ECEAP, licensing regulations, or Conscious Discipline is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass required background checks and meet Washington State licensing requirements.
