Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral conditions.
- Conduct various dental procedures including root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and hygiene during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Epic and Eaglesoft software.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and implement best practices in the clinic.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
