We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team. As a Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing educational lesson plans, providing guidance and support to students, and ensuring a safe and nurturing learning environment. This is a full-time position in the field of early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special education needs or behavioral challenges
- Foster social-emotional development through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and other relevant documentation
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Previous experience working with students in a daycare or classroom setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and early intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and promote positive behavior
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Familiarity with child welfare regulations and safety protocols

Trinity Day Care is looking for a teacher to join our team that is effective at providing quality instruction and fostering a positive learning environment for all students and meets DCFS requirements by one of the following ways:
- sixty semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours in courses related directly to child care and/or child development, from birth to 6 years.
or
- one year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a licensed day care center and 30 semester hours of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours in courses related directly to childcare and/or child development, from birth to age six.
or
- Infant/Toddler CDA
