Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple environmental consulting projects and client relationships, serving as a senior technical and strategic advisor.
- Oversee project scope, schedules, staffing, and delivery while coordinating with internal specialists to provide comprehensive, high‑quality solutions.
- Ensure technical excellence and quality control of major deliverables in accordance with the firm’s Quality Management System and ISO 9001 procedures.
- Own project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and profitability, and proactively manage risks to schedule and margin.
- Serve as a primary client contact, leading meetings, communicating recommendations to management, and resolving high‑priority or complex issues.
- Mentor, supervise, and develop project staff through coaching, performance feedback, and formal evaluations; support recruiting and retention efforts as needed.
- Support business growth by identifying and securing additional work with existing and new clients and contributing to proposal development, scope definition, and pricing.
- Represent the firm through clear written and verbal communication with clients, regulators, and internal teams; participate in industry, marketing, and knowledge‑sharing activities as appropriate.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages 1-4 subordinate supervisors. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also may directly supervise 1-4 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental/Civil Engineering, and/or related Atmospheric/Environmental Science from four-year college or university or foreign equivalent; and at least four years related experience.
Must have computer literacy, including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.
Salary : $90,000 - $150,000
