Position Overview
This EHS position oversees environmental health and safety initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role serves as the dedicated EHS partner for the facility’s engineering projects, ensuring health and safety integration The successful candidate will champion a robust safety culture and drive continuous improvement across all EHS performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support programs including:
- Design/Engineering – Review design documents
- Participate in project meetings
- Participate in PHAs
- Assist with the development and implementation of site RMP program
- Assist with the update and implementation of site PSM program
- Assist API implementation and compliance
- Assis with the implementation of NFPA standards
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field
- 5 years of EHS experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of RMP, PSM, API, NFPA, EPA, and FDA regulations
- Strong understanding and familiarity with environmental regulations
