What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Reader (Seasonal) position at Trinity College?
Working from early November through early March, Seasonal readers are responsible for reviewing applications. To meet reading goals, the Seasonal Reader must be able to devote a minimum of 25 hours/week to the application review process and attends a training session in early November. Seasonal Readers may choose to work remotely or on campus extending from November to March. Seasonal Readers must maintain communication with the Admissions Leadership Team and be responsive to guidance and feedback. To read online applications, the Seasonal Reader must have access to high-speed internet in a private space.

- Strong reading and writing skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to be proactive and work collaboratively as well as independently as part of the Admissions team.

- Well-developed computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Attend training sessions in early November and participate in the full application reading cycle from November to March
- Review first-year applications, including high school transcripts, standardized test scores, personal essays, recommendation letters, and other application materials
- Submit detailed application evaluations
- Maintain consistent communication with the Admissions Leadership Team and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.
