SUMMARY
Trinity Classical Academy seeks a temporary, Summer Camp Counselor. Candidate must be at least 18 years old (preferred) and/or high school graduate. Qualified candidate will lead activities with small groups, motivating campers in group names, attending and overseeing exciting field trips, building relationships with elementary-aged campers and most importantly, having fun this summer! Work schedule is flexible.

Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Abilities
- Be punctual and present during scheduled hours
- Establish healthy rapport with campers, parents and staff
- Regular check-ins with camp director

- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with camp directors and other leaders of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Demonstrate the ability to establish good and appropriate relationships with campers and parents
- Must be a flexible thinker

- Multitasking in an environment with many distractions is a must
- Must successfully pass a background investigation
- Must successfully pass child abuse prevention training
Working Conditions
- Working Environment: Typically requires standing and moving for long periods of time both indoors and outdoors
- Able to make visual and auditory evaluation of campers
- Requires standing for long periods of time; will include frequent walking and sitting
- Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for extended period of time, repetitious hand and body movements, simple grasping, fine and gross motor skills. Stand and walk when administering care. Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 20 pounds. Must be able to climb one flight of stairs.
- Travel: Travel will be required for local field trips

Summer Camp Dates: June 8 – August 7, 2026 (weekdays)
Summer Camp Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
