Trinity Christian Academy is seeking a relational, strategic, and mission-driven Development Lead to help advance the school’s fundraising, donor engagement, and stewardship efforts.
This role serves as a key leader within the Advancement office, working in close partnership with the Director of Advancement to cultivate donor relationships, strengthen fundraising systems, execute development strategy, and ensure donors are meaningfully connected to the mission of TCA.

- Track progress toward fundraising goals and help identify opportunities for increased donor engagement
- Coordinate development efforts across annual giving, major gifts, events, sponsorships, and stewardship
- Bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to advancement initiatives from planning through completion
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with donors, families, grandparents, alumni, and community partners
- Support donor cultivation through personal outreach, thoughtful follow-up, and consistent relationship management
- Help identify, qualify, and nurture prospective donors and sponsors
- Ensure donors feel known, thanked, informed, and connected to the impact of their giving
- Execute timely, personal, and mission-centered donor acknowledgments
- Maintain accurate donor records, notes, giving history, and relationship tracking in DonorPerfect
- Collaborate in developing and executing fundraising campaigns, appeals, sponsorship opportunities, and donor communications
- Help prepare donor materials, proposals, reports, impact updates, and campaign follow-up
- Monitor campaign progress and provide regular updates on giving activity, donor response, and next steps
- Partner with the Director of Advancement to move donor conversations toward meaningful giving opportunities
- Lead planning and logistics for major development events, including the Legacy Dinner, donor receptions, giving events, and stewardship gatherings
- Coordinate vendors, volunteers, timelines, guest lists, sponsorship details, and event communications
- Ensure events are mission-aligned, well-executed, and designed to deepen donor connection
- Manage post-event follow-up, donor acknowledgments, and next-step engagement
- Maintain strong systems for donor tracking, task management, reporting, and follow-through
- Generate reports and analyze giving data to support development strategy
- Ensure data integrity in DonorPerfect and related advancement systems
- Support communication efforts including emails, mailings, campaign materials, and donor updates
- Help create repeatable processes that allow the Advancement office to operate with excellence and consistency

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- High level of professionalism, discretion, and follow-through
- Comfortable initiating donor contact and nurturing relationships over time
- Experience with events, campaigns, or donor stewardship preferred
- CRM/database experience preferred; DonorPerfect experience a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively while also owning key responsibilities independently
