The Bible Teacher is responsible for leading students in the study of God’s Word
while integrating biblical truth into daily instruction and discipleship. This position
exists not only to teach Scripture academically, but to help students develop a
personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in biblical understanding, and
cultivate a Christian worldview that shapes how they live, learn, and lead.
The Bible Teacher serves as both educator and spiritual mentor, supporting the
mission of Trinity Christian Academy by helping students know truth, live truth,
and share truth. At Trinity Christian Academy, Bible is more than a subject—it is
foundational. The Bible Teacher helps students see Scripture not simply as
something to study, but as truth to live by. This role is central to shaping hearts,
renewing minds, and preparing students to follow Christ faithfully in every sphere
of life.
Requirements
- Must be a Christian and actively attend a local church.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Bible, Theology, Christian Education or related field).
- Teaching certification or eligibility preferred.
- In depth knowledge of teaching methods.
- Demonstrated heart for discipleship and Christian education.
- Experience working with children and students, prior classroom preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Scripture and Christian doctrine.
- Frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting of up to approximately 30
pounds may be required.
- Full-time position Monday through Friday.
- Work day from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Desire to continue career improvement and travel if necessary.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Ability to communicate comfortably (written and orally) with students,
parents/guardians, administrators, and others.
2. Ability to follow and enforce rules, policies, and procedures.
3. Support the philosophy and mission of Trinity Christian Academy.
4. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities
Biblical Instruction
- Teach Bible courses aligned with school curriculum and biblical worldview
standards
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote biblical literacy, critical
thinking, and spiritual growth
- Instruct students in Scripture, theology, apologetics, Christian living, and
worldview development
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, discussions, and
evaluations
- Integrate prayer, worship, and Scripture into daily classroom life
Discipleship & Spiritual Formation
- Foster spiritual growth and discipleship among students
- Encourage students in their personal walk with Christ
- Model biblical character, servant leadership, and Christian maturity
- Provide spiritual guidance and mentorship to students as appropriate
- Support chapels, spiritual emphasis events, prayer initiatives, and other
faith-forming activities
Classroom Leadership
- Maintain an orderly, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment
- Establish high expectations for academic excellence and student
conduct
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies
- Differentiate instruction to support varying student needs and learning
styles
Biblical Worldview Integration
- Help students apply biblical truth to everyday life and contemporary
issues
- Equip students to think critically and respond biblically to cultural
challenges
- Reinforce the integration of faith and learning across disciplines
- Support the school’s mission of educating students from a biblical
worldview
Collaboration & School Community
- Partner with faculty and administration in advancing the spiritual mission
of the school
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school
events
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and
spiritual development
- Contribute positively to the culture and ministry of the school community
