The Middle School Spanish Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based Spanish language instruction to students in grades 6–8 while supporting the mission of Trinity Catholic Academy in Brockton, MA. The teacher fosters a faith-centered, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence, cultural awareness, and the development of the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, and socially.
Key Responsibilities include:
Instruction & Curriculum
- Plan and deliver rigorous, developmentally appropriate Spanish lessons
- Develop students’ proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish.
- Integrate cultural studies of Spanish-speaking countries to build global awareness and appreciation.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including differentiated instruction.
Assessment & Student Growth
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and families.
- Use data to inform instruction and support student achievement.
Catholic Identity & School Mission
