What are the responsibilities and job description for the Librarian position at Trinity Catholic Academy?
Responsibilities:
Seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Librarian to inspire a love of reading and learning in young students in grades PS-3rd grade. In this role, you will manage the school library collection, and curate and catalogue age-appropriate materials. You’ll work closely with teachers to integrate reading into the curriculum, plan author visits and events, and provide one-on-one support to students developing their research skills.
Hours of work: part time position for 3 days a week/ 12 hours a week
Qualifications:
-Library experience working with elementary-aged children is required.
- Strong knowledge and passion for the library
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
