What you'll do:
Promote alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the maintenance repair shop
Determine car requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of production and engineering.
Coordinate information and activities with other team members
May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers.
Develop and conduct reports, manage meetings, and support the railcar maintenance.
Collaborate with Lean and Continuous Improvement teams at plants during Kaizen events or Value Stream mapping activities.
Collect, compile, and present railcar maintenance progress and status report daily, or as requested.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with one year experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with many levels within the organization
