Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Career NDT Quality Inspector for 1st shift at our Shell Rock, IA plant. What you'll do:
- Make visual and measured inspection of products most of the time to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements
- May inspect incoming materials, outgoing materials, or products or assemblies throughout the manufacturing process
- May apply singular or multiple inspection processes using various appropriate NDE methods. Able to maintain, adjust or calibrate inspection equipment
- Complete inspection records and reports
- Familiar with appropriate codes, regulations, applicable procedures & standards
- Follows all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or CI initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
- Ability to achieve appropriate NDE certifications within 6 months
- Under supervision of a Level II or III Certified NDT Inspector
