Directional Drill Operator / HDD Crew Member

Trinity Boring Solutions Inc. is one of Oklahoma's fastest-growing directional boring and underground utility contractors, headquartered in Yukon and working across the OKC metro and statewide. Our crews put pipe in the ground where it counts: commercial sites, municipal water systems, military installations, airport grounds, and live active facilities. We install water, electric, gas, and fiber/communications conduit using horizontal directional drilling (HDD), auger boring, trenching, and hydro-excavation, and the work is outpacing our crews. That is where you come in.

Who we want:

We hold a high bar. We hire people who show up early, stay sharp around live utilities, take pride in a clean bore path, and want to move up. If you are drug-free, dependable, and hungry to learn a high-paying trade, we will train you from the ground up.

Positions and pay ($18 to $30 per hour, based on level and experience):

Groundman / Laborer: $18 to $21 per hour. No HDD experience required, we train.

Locator: $22 to $26 per hour. Walkover locating experience (DigiTrak or similar).

Drill Operator: $24 to $30 per hour. Proven stick time on Vermeer or Ditch Witch rigs.

CDL Class A adds to your rate at any level. Overtime available during peak season.

What you will do:

Operate or support directional drill rigs on utility installations (water, electric, gas, fiber)

Track the drill head, read locate marks, and pothole existing utilities before crossing

Mix and manage drilling fluid for changing soil conditions

Operate support equipment: mini excavator, skid steer, vac trailer

Load out, maintain equipment, and keep jobsites clean, safe, and inspection-ready

CDL holders: haul rigs and support equipment to and from jobsites

Pre-employment drug screen

Criminal background check

Motor vehicle record (MVR) review. A clean driving record is required.

DOT physical / medical card for CDL positions

Verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Physical requirements:

Work outdoors year-round in all weather

Lift 50 pounds repeatedly; stand, kneel, and work on uneven ground for extended periods

Good vision (normal or corrected), manual dexterity, and full situational awareness around heavy equipment
