Salary: Starting at $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
Job Summary:
The Director of Student Services oversees district programs including Special Education, ESL/Bilingual, 504, Migrant, Homeless, Counseling, and Health Services. This role ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines, monitors student data, and supports effective instruction and professional development to advance the district’s educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage district-wide programs supporting diverse student needs.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Use data to evaluate program effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with district and campus leaders to align goals and improve student outcomes.
- Supervise and support staff within Special Programs, Counseling, and Health Services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification required.
- Administrative and/or Special Education experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and data analysis skills.
