About The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and experienced District Property Manager to oversee multiple apartment communities across Los Angeles, CA. Frequent travel between sites is required.
What You’ll Do
- Lead operations across multiple properties, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met
- Oversee deposit accounting and ensure check disbursements meet 21-day legal timelines
- Conduct quarterly file audits and property inspections to ensure adherence to company standards
- Handle resident relations, ledgers, and notices professionally and promptly
- Supervise maintenance coordination and special projects across properties
- Perform leasing and pre-leasing duties when assigned
- Monitor operating and capital budgets; approve expenditures within budget guidelines
- Act as liaison between ownership and company leadership
- Serve as interim property manager during vacancies
- Travel regularly for site audits (approx. 75% onsite presence required)
- 3 years of apartment or multifamily property management experience
- 1 year of leadership or staff supervision experience
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish)
- Strong knowledge of California property management laws and Fair Housing
- Proficiency in Yardi software (required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and delegation abilities
