- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous maintenance experience required, preferably in a healthcare, long-term care, or commercial facility setting.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and respond to maintenance emergencies.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility.
- Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, beds, call bell systems, doors, and other facility equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and building systems remain in excellent working condition.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance projects while maintaining a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including life safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspections, and required documentation.
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Assist with emergency preparedness, inspections, and regulatory surveys as needed.
