Overview
We need Drywall Hanger and Finisher, to help finish up a job we are half way through due to time restrants.
Duties
- Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools to ensure precise fit and alignment.
- Apply drywall mud (joint compound) to seams, screw holes, and surface imperfections for smooth finishes.
- Tape joints and corners with drywall tape, then sand surfaces to achieve a flawless appearance suitable for painting or texturing..
- Perform drywall repairs and patching on damaged surfaces or during renovation projects to restore structural integrity.
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), scaffold safety, and hazard awareness protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, finishing, and repair within a construction environment.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., knives, trowels), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and specialized equipment for drywall work.
- Understanding of construction estimating processes and ability to follow safety protocol adherence at all times.
- Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
