What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate-Credit & Asset Management Non Performing position at Trimont?
The Asset Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of performing assets that are not performing as underwritten, to determine the root causes, and the likelihood of improvement or further deterioration. Regular engagement with both the client and third-party servicers will be an integral part of the AM's day-to-day responsibilities. Client will require detailed quarterly updates on each asset in the AM's portfolio, with sufficient detail and analysis to project future performance of the underlying loan.

- Maintain broad overview knowledge of major markets (trends, drivers, rents, values, etc.) to support sound assessment of property operations and financial modeling
- Assess performance of the assets relative to underwriting
- Review and evaluate monthly/quarterly operating performance as
- Prioritize workload and submit work product in a thorough and timely manner while meeting all reporting/compliance deadlines
- Additional duties as assigned by your manager
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, required
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel usage
- Knowledgeable about commercial real estate transactions and industry terminology
- Familiar with commercial real estate valuation methods and principles
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting strict deadlines
- Demonstrates strong analytical and mathematical abilities
- Excellent at both written and verbal communication
- Familiar in using Argus Enterprise for real estate analysis
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook for professional documentation and communication
