TriMedia Environmental & Engineering is seeking full-time Environmental/Survey Field Technician to join their team in Marquette, Michigan. As an Environmental/Survey Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting fieldwork related to environmental assessments, surveys, and data collection.

- Perform field data collection, including soil, water, air, and biological sampling.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain field equipment such as GIS mapping devices, environmental monitoring instruments, and survey tools.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of field activities and findings.
- Collaborate with project teams to interpret data and prepare reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during field operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members regarding field findings and potential issues.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field required.
- 2 years of experience in environmental fieldwork or a related discipline is preferred.
- Proficiency with GPS and GIS related technology.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in outdoor field conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
