We’re seeking an experienced Tax Manager with excellent client service skills to join this close-knit team. The firm serves a diverse clientele, including high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TAX MANAGER
- Preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.
- Lead tax planning and strategy engagements for clients in various industries.
- Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing well-supported recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
- Monitor workflow and deadlines to ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Stay current on tax law changes and professional standards; share knowledge with the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation a plus
- CPA
- 5-10 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and research
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g., CCH ProSystem Fx) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- Highest level of honesty and integrity
Target salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 DOE. PTO, insurance, 401K, continuing education, and more!
