Field Installation Manager

TriMarc Installation, based in Norcross, GA seeks a Field Installation Manager. TriMarc Installation is a “white-glove” installation service catering to the Interior Design trade delivering and installing furniture, accessories, artwork and mirrors for Interior Designers for model homes, residential and commercial clients.

TriMarc currently installs model homes in the Southeast and Midwest for some of the top residential home builders in the United States. TriMarc seeks responsible candidates that can lead and supervise a crew of four to five installation specialist to provide turnkey white-glove installation of residential models.

Travel is required: Monday – Friday and always home on weekends.

The Field Installation Manager is a key position reporting to the General Manager and is responsible for all furniture installation field operations executing job planning, assembly, set-up and installation to include furniture and accessory installation, drapes, hanging artwork and framed mirrors with some light construction duties.

The Field Installation Manager will:

• Direct and implements all on-site activities associated with deliveries and installation.
• Responsible for supervision, document control and customer relations during the installation.
• Sets and demonstrates an environment of professionalism and excellent customer service on the project site.
• Responsible for reviewing and understanding installation plan prior to execution of the installation.
• Ensure that the crew has all necessary product and tools needed to properly execute the installation.
• Be able to lift in excess of 70 pounds on a frequent basis and must have prior furniture installation experience.
• Direct crew through the installation process including delivery, staging and installation of a variety of furniture, framed mirrors and artwork, using hand and power tools.
• Work with GM to identify training and developmental goals for all installers. Ø Responsible for driving a 26” box truck to and from various job sites and following all OSHA and DOT safety regulations.
• Travel is required: Monday – Friday and always home on weekends.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 2 years’ experience installing furniture, hanging artwork, drapes with special attention to detail
• Clean MVR and valid driver’s license a MUST!
• Must be D.O.T. certified with a good driving record and physically qualified to drive and pass a D.O.T. physical.
• Experience using hand and electrical tools with a “handyman” skill
• Ability to lift, push or pull furniture and equipment weighing 70 to 100 pound.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical computations and read a ruler.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficient to communicate with clients and to communicate effectively in writing.
• Good knowledge of the Atlanta metropolitan area
• Good leadership and problem-solving skill
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
• Interior Design experience a PLUS
• Professional appearance and conduct a must.
• Previous experience working with a similar installation company is a PLUS!
