Pay Details

• Average weekly gross pay $850 - $1,200 for new hires
• $45,000-$65,000k annual average gross before perks!
• Rates based on tonnage
• Paid weekly direct deposit
• Paid orientation of $200/day
• Retention bonus of $1,500 paid quarterly*

Schedule

• Home Daily
• Weekend work required
• 12 hour shifts
• Consistent work

Job Details

• Shipper Locations: Portage, Indiana
• Consignee Locations: Wheatfield, IN, Sterling Heights, MI
• Dry bulk/Pneumatic tanker freight for primary hauls
• Cross training for ISO chemical department

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering shipments to assigned customers.
• Completion of all required paperwork, including getting required signatures on documents and bill of ladings
• Maintaining and complying with all state and federal laws
• Obeying DOT and FMCSA E-log requirements
• Submitting all load documents in a timely manner
• Upholding a professional attitude at all times
• Keeping load appointments on time and as scheduled

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Current Medical Certificate
• 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience preferred
• Trainees accepted
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required within 90 days after hire
• TWIC card

Past 7 years without:

• Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
• A preventable rollover or fatality crash

Past 3 years without:

• License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
• A major preventable accident
• Two or more moving convictions
