Inventory Specialist
Trim-Pak Door and Trim Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as an Inventory Specialist. As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing our inventory system and ensuring accurate stock levels to support our production and customer service operations. Responsibilities:
- Trim-Pak is looking for an inventory person who can streamline our inventory system.
- Oversee inventory control and management, including receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming materials and products.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and adjustments using our inventory management software.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconciliations to ensure physical inventory aligns with system records.
- Coordinate with various departments, such as production, purchasing, and sales, to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies or issues, working closely with relevant teams to resolve them promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to place orders for materials and supplies as needed.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess inventory accuracy, identify obsolete or slow-moving items, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on inventory performance, including stock availability, turnover rates, and potential risks.
- Assist in optimizing inventory processes and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or supply chain is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy are required.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recording and analyzing inventory data.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems related to inventory management.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and best practices in supply chain management.
- Physical stamina to perform inventory-related tasks such as lifting and moving items as required.
- Resilient mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
