Are you passionate about cutting-edge processor technologies and silicon validation? We are seeking a Validation Engineer 2 to join a highly technical engineering team responsible for validating next-generation processor interface technologies with a strong focus on power management and platform-level validation.
🔹 What You'll Do
• Develop and execute comprehensive electrical and functional validation test plans
• Validate processor interfaces using advanced hardware and software validation tools
• Debug electrical and functional issues in new processor silicon
• Perform platform-level validation and characterization activities
• Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment
• Contribute to platform architecture reviews and validation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians
🔹 Required Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
✔ 2-4 years of validation, hardware, or semiconductor engineering experience
✔ Experience with processor/platform validation and debug
✔ Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, C, or C
✔ Experience with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
✔ Ability to read schematics and hardware documentation
✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✔ Excellent communication skills
