Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Software Solution Architect with strong expertise in the Rhapsody Integration Engine to design and implement enterprise healthcare integrations. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing secure, scalable integrations and translating complex message payloads between healthcare systems and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using the Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)
- Use the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, mappers, and extensions
- Develop custom message transformations between formats such as JSON, XML, and HL7
- Translate healthcare and enterprise data into proprietary or legacy formats when required
- Develop and integrate web services using SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP connections, and LLP
- Implement transport-level security including TLS encryption and certificate-based authentication
- Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize performance of healthcare data workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams to design secure and scalable integration solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations
- Several years of hands-on experience with the latest Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x)
- Strong experience using the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK)
- Experience building custom message payload translations (JSON, XML, HL7, proprietary formats)
- Experience working with SOAP and REST web services
- Strong understanding of OAuth, TCP connections, and LLP protocols
- Experience implementing secure transport protocols such as TLS and certificate-based authentication
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Rhapsody Certification
- Experience in healthcare integration environments
- Experience designing scalable enterprise integration architectures
- Interview process: Virtual interview via MS Teams (video required)
- Candidates must join interviews from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested
- Hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite per week – no remote-only option)
- Local candidates preferred; non-local candidates must be willing to relocate at their own expense
