🚀 Hiring: NPI (New Product Introduction) Material Analyst

📍 Location: Santa Clara, CA

📅 Contract Duration: 12 Months

💰 Pay Rate: $40–$55/hr on W2

We are seeking an experienced NPI Material Analyst to support a leading semiconductor organization during critical new product introduction and product ramp activities.

This role will play a key part in ensuring material readiness, supply continuity, supplier engagement, cost analysis, and successful execution of engineering and production builds.

Responsibilities

🔹 Material Readiness & Planning

• Perform weekly Clear-to-Build (CTB) analysis

• Execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

• Track component readiness for engineering builds

• Resolve supply gaps and shortages proactively

• Prepare CTB reports for operations and NPI reviews

🔹 Supply Chain Risk Management

• Identify supply chain risks and single points of failure

• Develop mitigation strategies for component shortages

• Review open market and broker purchasing opportunities

• Support alternate sourcing and supplier qualification initiatives

🔹 Cost Analysis & Product Cost Management

• Analyze material costs and supplier quotations

• Monitor PPV spending against standard cost targets

• Collaborate with Finance and Business Units on approvals

• Support projected product cost analysis activities

🔹 Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams

• Coordinate with global suppliers and contract manufacturers

• Support early-stage component sampling and procurement efforts

🔹 NPI Execution

• Drive supply chain deliverables throughout prototype phases

• Support transition from engineering builds to mass production

• Ensure operational readiness for product launches and ramps

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field

✔ 3–5 years of experience in:

• Supply Chain

• Materials Planning

• Procurement

• Manufacturing Operations

✔ Experience with:

• MRP

• ERP Systems

• SAP / Oracle / NetSuite

• Advanced Excel

• Tableau

• SQL

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications
