Job Title: Electronics Technician
Location: Goleta, CA (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | Regular Business Hours
We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support the assembly, testing, and validation of prototype and production electronic devices. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in electronics assembly, troubleshooting, and laboratory testing who enjoy working in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic and mechanical devices, including PCB soldering, wire bonding, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
- Perform functional testing and electrical measurements to verify product performance.
- Support engineering teams with test execution, data collection, and prototype validation.
- Configure and operate laboratory test equipment and hardware.
- Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical assemblies.
- Read electrical schematics and follow documented work instructions.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, inventory, and organization.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician, Electronics Test Technician, or Hardware Technician.
- Hands-on experience with PCB soldering, electronics assembly, and electrical testing.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, or similar electronic test equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Vector Network Analyzers (VNA), Spectrum Analyzers, or other advanced test equipment.
- Familiarity with basic circuit theory and electrical measurements.
- Experience using UNIX/Linux command-line interfaces.
