We're seeking an Instructional Designer who can craft learning experiences so compelling that children beg to return and parents become our most vocal advocates.
This role demolishes traditional instructional design boundaries. You'll own complete workshop development in public speaking and entrepreneurship, refining through real-time feedback and rigorous Test2Pass assessments. Operating as a focused product team of one, you'll leverage cutting-edge AI tools to deliver educational experiences that meet our exacting standards of excellence.

What You Will Be Doing
- Engineer mastery-driven life skills workshops in public speaking and entrepreneurship that captivate children and earn parental admiration and advocacy
- Develop rigorous Test2Pass assessments that objectively quantify skill development and mastery acquisition
- Conduct in-person observations of student engagement, translating behavioral insights and stakeholder feedback into measurable design improvements
- Leverage advanced AI tools to accelerate research, synthesize insights, and optimize iteration cycles
- Craft content that balances emotional resonance with academic credibility, consistently delivering experiences that combine intellectual rigor with genuine delight
- Implementing static curricula or adhering to conventional academic benchmarks that limit innovation
- Designing in isolation—this role demands continuous integration of feedback from actual students and parents
- Creating materials without clearly defined, measurable outcomes and explicit mastery targets
- Facilitating workshops personally (our specialized Guides handle delivery while you focus on design excellence)

Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum 1 year experience creating educational content, workshops, or training programs with demonstrable results
- Proven ability to design experiences that captivate children while simultaneously impressing discerning parents
- Established track record of building authentic skill assessments that measure genuine capability development rather than participation
- Exceptional ability to decompose and simplify complex life skills into progressive, teachable components
- Demonstrated proficiency with generative AI tools and their application in educational design
- Capacity to thrive independently within a high-autonomy, self-directed team environment
- Commitment to working full-time in-person at Alpha's Austin campus
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
