As our Admissions Manager, you'll be the bridge between curious families and life-changing educational opportunities. This isn't about glossy marketing materials or feel-good conversations. You'll take complete ownership of admissions operations for one campus location — Scottsdale or San Francisco — controlling every aspect from initial outreach to final enrollment. What You Will Be Doing

  • Delivering personalized responses to family inquiries within 4-hour windows — every interaction crafted specifically, never templated.
  • Conducting compelling campus tours and information sessions that clearly demonstrate our accelerated learning methodology and ideal student profile.
  • Orchestrating the complete admissions journey: application processing, trial day coordination, enrollment conversations, and family onboarding.
  • Maintaining pristine HubSpot and student information system records for accurate weekly performance analysis.
  • Continuously refining admissions materials, procedures, and frequently asked questions based on real-world feedback — plus implementing innovative conversion strategies.

  • Supervising staff members — you'll be both the strategic planner and hands-on executor.
  • Navigating traditional educational bureaucracy — we operate with startup agility, not institutional sluggishness.
  • Accepting every applicant equally — your mission is strategic selection, not volume-based enrollment.
  • Defending our approach to skeptics — some families won't appreciate our model, and that's perfectly fine.
  • Working from home — this position requires on-site presence with occasional local event attendance.

Admissions Manager Key Responsibilities

Take complete ownership of the admissions pipeline to transform qualified prospects into enrolled students — ensuring every touchpoint exemplifies the innovation, efficiency, and academic excellence that defines our educational approach.

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive admissions experience at competitive, fee-based educational institutions.
  • Demonstrated track record managing competitive enrollment processes from initial inquiry through final commitment.
  • Natural ease and authority when engaging with affluent family demographics.
  • Outstanding communication abilities across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
  • Solid operational foundation: CRM expertise (particularly HubSpot), superior time management, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Current residence in or willingness to relocate to Scottsdale, AZ or San Francisco, CA.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Previous experience in prestigious private school admissions or competitive university enrollment management.
  • Track record organizing events that influence significant family educational decisions.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting conversion data, enrollment metrics, and performance reporting.
  • Knowledge of AI-enhanced or competency-based educational methodologies.

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
